Local Outreach

Community Life Strategy
Shaped by our core values, Community Life is an intentional movement to continue gathering for the weekend experience and then moving (scattering) outside our church walls into smaller group environments for true community as modeled in Scripture.

Acts 2:42-47 (the DNA of the early church), Colossians 3:12-17 (how to live in community) and Matthew 22:37-39 (the greatest commandments) are important biblical foundations we are building on to shape the E91 culture.

What I do at E91: I am the Executive Director of our Outreach Ministries. This includes community outreach, church planting, and global outreach.

    Hometown: Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Education: I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and my Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Career Experiences: My first ministry experience was as Minister of Outreach here at E91. I then served with TCM, a mission that trains Christians for ministry in Europe and Central Asia. God then called me to help plant a church in southern New Hampshire, outside of Boston. Then it was back to E91 again as the Minister of Church Planting. A few years later I left to start a church planting program at Ozark Christian College. I eventually moved the training, and my family, to New York City. Now God has a brought me back once again to E91.

My favorite part of serving at E91: I love the people with whom I work and I love helping others reach outside of themselves to people who matter to God.

Family/Hobbies: I have been married to Nancy for over thirty years. We have three children, Kaitlin, Josh, and Amy, and one son in law, Justin. I enjoy the outdoors: hiking, running, biking, and skiing, both cross country and downhill.
