Hospital Visits & Funerals

When facing a hospital stay, or the death of a loved one, your world might feel like it is falling apart. Our Pastoral Care Ministry desires to offer you encouragement, comfort, and hope.

If you or a loved one would like a visit while hospitalized locally, please call us at (317) 849-1261 with the name of the hospital, patient's name (please spell as registered), room number, and other pertinent information. Our goal is to visit area hospitals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. If there is an emergency admission after working hours, please call (317) 849-1261 and follow instructions for the Minister On Call.

We know that the death of a loved one is a traumatic time. We want to walk through that valley with you and help hold you up in your time of sorrow and mourning, as well as assist you in your grieving process. Ministers are available to help you with the funeral service and to provide encouragement during the early days after a death. If you want to hold your loved one's funeral at the church, please contact Lynnette Craig at (317) 576-6127 x2332. We also have resources available to help you deal with your feelings of loneliness, fear, anger, devastation and/or confusion as you go through the grieving process.

Please call us at (317) 849-1261 when there has been a death and include your loved one's name, along with visitation, and funeral service details.
